Welcome! Create your account in Fitli - click here. Please sign up for our FORM class to start, or ask for a consultation so we can guide you through the basics and help you decide if classes or privates are best for you.
We have two different types of classes - Equipment and Mat. Equipment classes are $45 each or $35 with a package (come on, we know you can't come only once!). Mat classes include our fitness classes and are $25 each or $20 with a package. Private sessions and duets vary based on instructor. From time to time we have teachers in training offering classes at a reduced rate. We highly encourage you to try them out as it's a bargain and you're helping them become certified.
Please reach out to the studio for your first session. After that, you may arrange sessions directly with your instructor.
We want you to be comfortable and able to move, but don't wear clothes that are too baggy - we need to be able to see your form to make sure you are exercising correctly. Grippy socks are required for all pilates classes and clean, dry running shoes for our fitness classes. Grippy socks are available for purchase in the studio.
Yourself, ready to move! Grippy socks and a water bottle if desired. For FRNO, we recommend you invest in your own personal yoga towel.
We are a small studio in a small town and must enforce a 24 hour cancellation policy. If Fitli doesn't let you cancel, it's too late.
Add yourself to the waitlist for any class. Class spots often become available and you will receive a notification from Fitli if a spot opens up. Fitli will NOT sign you up automatically but will notify you of the opening. Make sure you have text alerts set up in Fitli for faster access.

Pilates is a physical and mental fitness program developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany. Using proper body mechanics, controlled movements, pelvic stabilization, and coordinated breathing, Pilates focuses on flexibility and strength to create a balance in the body. By correcting posture, Pilates can strengthen your body against future injuries. Because Pilates focuses on the connection between the mind and body, it also offers meditative benefits - increased energy, improved concentration and better coordination. Plus it's fun!!
While Pilates equipment and mat classes provide similar benefits, it is generally best to combine both in your Pilates journey. The key to Pilates is creating resistance in your own body. You can accomplish this using either a mat, where your own body weight creates resistance, or a reformer, where pulleys and springs create resistance for you. The Pilates equipment perfectly aligns your body while you’re working out and adds resistance to all of your exercises, while mat classes challenge you because you are responsible for maintaining the Pilates form and alignment on your own. And because Pilates is all about the quality of the movement over the quantity of reps, the most connections are made by combining both mat and equipment throughout your practice.
Like anything, consistency is key. By coming once a week, you will see improvement, because something is always better than nothing. Coming twice a week will accelerate the changes you feel. Three times will see the fastest improvement. We recommend taking a variety of classes and working with a variety of instructors to find the best combination for you and your body. Pilates is like taking a hot shower - it always makes you feel better!
Pilates is known for building strength using low-impact movements that are easy on the joints. The Pilates workout targets every muscle group, but it’s most well-known for building core strength — which will lead to better posture and alignment, better balance, and increased stability. Pilates also lengthens your muscles to improve your flexibility (if you haven’t been able to touch your toes for years, that’s about to change). In addition to strength, we offer more cardio focused classes like FIRE and FRNO. Whatever benefit you’re looking to get out of your workout, we can help.
